Outlook 2000 POP Mail client setup.
Open Outlook 2000, click Tools -> Accounts.

Click the Mail Tab. Highlight the Account you want to change and click the Properties button. If adding a new account click the Add button and select Mail.

On the General Tab fill in your name and e-mail address. Include your Organization if you wish.

On the Servers tab use mail.sonoracomm.com for both POP3 and SMTP servers. Your Account name is the part of your e-mail address before the @. If your email is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it then your Account name is probably 'max'.
Be sure to select the "My server requires authentication.
Do not select the "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".

If you see this dialog box, just choose "Use same settings...".
The rest of the default settings will work if Sonora Communications is your ISP.
Important: Remember to restart Outlook so the changes actually take effect. Make sure it's really closed before reopening it too!
